The news of a newly restored Bulleid Merchant Navy Pacific on the Gloucestershire - Warwickshire Railway made it necessary to organise a stopover last weekend on the way south for the Torbay Express. I was rewarded by the sights and sounds of not only No 35006 Peninsular & Oriental S.N.Co but also newly restored Modified Hall 4-6-0 No 7903 Foremark Hall.
I was most impressed with this railway on my first visit: excellent facilities, all fresh clean and tidy, staff smart and friendly, everything railway was shown off to great advantage. Many thanks to all for a great visit.
