To commemorate the 150th anniversary of Doncaster Works (always known locally as The Plant), a major open day was held for which a huge variety of steam, diesel and electric locomotives with Doncaster connections was assembled. A beautiful sunny day and a fine collection of motive power amde this a day to remember.
