PMR Tours eventually ran their tour, postponed from June, from Lincoln to Holyhead. I joined the train at a murky Crewe but the weather in Wales was warm and sunny.


The Duchess was magnificent as always, with its steady (if not spectacular) running keeping us near time despite slacks on the outward run, and achieving an early arrival in Crewe on the return.
